2012 - 2013 Initiatives

Initiative: Initiate the process in the development of a white paper addressing various allied health professional positions roles (nurse, transplant pharmacists, etc.). This will involve collaborative efforts within the AST CoPs.
Timeline: To be completed by the end of 2012.

Initiative: Initiate collaborative efforts with AST COPs, other allied health groups and societies.
Timeline: Ongoing

Initiative: Continue “mentorship program” to provide expert feedback on dissertations, abstracts, publications, etc.
Timeline: Heavy promotion in the Fall of 2012.

Initiative: Submit Program Proposals to the 2013 ATC Planning Committee
Timeline: Submit proposals by July 1, 2012.

Initiative: Nominate fellow colleagues for AST Achievement Awards
Timeline: December 2012.

Initiative: Develop and distribute a needs assessment survey.
Timeline: To be distributed by August 2012.

Initiative: Increase COP membership by twenty percent.
Timeline: By the 2013 ATC.

Initiative: Develop new website content.
Timeline: Ongoing with goal of new content by November 2012.
