2012 - 2013 Initiatives

Top three priorities:

• Identify and address member constituency gaps
• Continue to assess and optimize the value of AST membership
• Identify new and innovative member benefits

Other initiatives:

• Review membership applications and approve for AST membership quarterly, or on an as needed basis
• Increase net membership numbers by 5 percent each year
• Provide complimentary memberships to Community of Practice members who are non-members of AST. A full proposal will go to the Board at a future Board meeting.
• Monitor growth and attrition rates by membership categories and specialties to direct membership recruitment efforts and guide membership dues rate structure
• Nominate colleagues for AST Achievement Awards
• Support new member lunch at 2013 ATC dependant upon budget approval at November Board meeting
