2011 - 2012 Initiatives

Top three priorities:

• Develop a proposal to generate a white paper on a critical care topic.
• Improve the Thoracic and Critical Care Structure
• Organize related education sessions at the ATC 2013 with detailed program proposal about Thoracic and Critical Care issues.

Other initiatives to be completed:

• Develop a proposal to generate a white paper on a Pulmonary topic. We will brainstorm ideas at the executive meeting.
• Endorse ACCP Donor Management Paper
• Endorse the ATS Health Policy Statement on the Medical and Ethical Consideration of DCDD
• Develop marketing plan to increase travel grant award submissions.
