All information will be saved in a secure, password protected environment. At any time in the nomination process, the nominator/submitter will be able to save the nomination and return to the site to complete it at a later date, prior to the deadline.

The letter of recommendation with original/electronic signatures on institutional letterhead must be uploaded to the application site by the submission deadline. In addition, the original letter must be mailed to the AST National Office. This letter must be postmarked by the submission deadline and have an original signature on institutional letterhead.

Review Process:
The AST Awards and Nominating Committee will review the nominations received by the submission deadline and will make final recommendations to the AST Board of Directors. Nominees and nominators will be notified of the outcome in March 2013. Recipients will receive their award at the AST Awards Ceremony during the 2013 American Transplant Congress, May 18-21, 2013 in Seattle, WA. Recipients are expected to attend the 2013 ATC and must register for the congress. Registration is NOT included as part of the AST award.
