Trainee members may not vote or hold office on the Council, but may serve on committees.

AST also recognizes the cost challenge of paying annual membership dues for trainee members transitioning to full or international member status. As a result and in order to ease the transition, the AST has introduced a two (2) year graduated dues increase for these members. If you are currently listed as a trainee member of the AST, but have transitioned out of a fellowship position, please contact the AST.

Has your membership lapsed? The AST gladly welcomes back former members who are interested in reinstating their membership. Please contact the AST Staff at info@myAST.org for more information.
