Improving Medication Reconciliation in Transplantation Continuum of Care; Expansion of Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services
What made you decide to work in transplantation?:
Transplantation is the ideal role for the highly skilled clinical pharmacist. I find it rewarding to work with patients across all phases of the transplantation process from the pre transplant phase to the years after surgery.
What do you find to be the most valuable aspect of your work?:
The most valuable aspect of my work is that as a transplant pharmacy leader, I ensure the growth and development of members of the transplant pharmacy team. This allows our program to provide high quality care to our patients.
My wife and I participated in a Dancing for Donations gala this winter. We helped raise over $100,000 to support Donate Life Connecticut and we learned the rumba!
