April 19, 2016 – AST Board of Directors Meeting Summary

The AST Board of Directors met by teleconference on April 19, 2016, and discussed the following items.

Board members reviewed and approved:

• Minutes and action items from its March 22, 2016 teleconference
• Consent agenda, including:
  • Approval of audited December 2015 financial statement
  • Final approval of the Pediatric COP’s “ Pediatric Kidney Transplantation: A Guide for Patients and Families” to be posted to the website
  • Women’s Health COP manuscript

The board reviewed and approved the 2017 Antibody Testing Consensus Conference Budget.

Board members approved proposed appointments to the Accreditation Board of Managers

The board considered several requests to survey the full AST membership.

The board reviewed and approved an IDCOP manuscript for submission.

Board members received an update on the Comprehensive Trainee Curriculum (CTC) project.

Board members discussed interest in a Hepatitis C consensus conference

The board discussed a proposed Distinguished Service Award for this year’s ATC meeting.
