We're pleased to share that the bylaw amendments have been passed to expand the trainee membership and introduce a new affiliate membership category.
Expanded Trainee Membership: This category continues to include individuals enrolled in training programs, as well as now welcomes those who have completed their training but have not yet qualified for Full or International membership—opening the door for medical students and others interested in a career in transplant to join the AST. We are currently offering this membership at a discounted rate. Learn more here.
New Affiliate Membership: This category is designed for individuals employed in the healthcare industry with a significant business interest in organ and tissue transplantation. More information will be providing in the coming weeks.
