The Community of Basic Scientists (COBS) is pleased to announce that its name is being changed to the Community of Transplant Scientists (COTS). This is to reflect the fact that many COBS members actually conduct translational research. Furthermore, no other AST Community of Practice represents translational scientists. Thus, with the renaming of our community of practice to COTS, we aim to both provide a new home and effectively advocate for all basic and translational scientists within the AST. COTS would like to extend a warm welcome to any AST members performing Translational or Basic science.
