1. Apply to be considered for OPTN board and committee positions
Apply by Sept. 30 to be considered for board and committee terms beginning in July 2021.
2. Allocating organs: what do you think is most important to consider?
Your feedback will provide important information to move work forward for the continuous distribution project and the future state of organ allocation.
3. Engage in summer 2020 public comment
Open until October 1! The OPTN committees value individual comments in addition to the AST's society responses. The OPTN committees consider all comments when developing final proposals to submit to the OPTN Board of Directors.
4. Attend your virtual regional meeting
The meetings are your opportunity to learn more about the work of the OPTN and provide your feedback. So far, regions 4, 5, 3, and 7 have already met this cycle.
5. What do you think of OPTN regions? Take a short questionnaire
The OPTN is soliciting initial community input on the structure, processes and effectiveness of the current regional structure to inform the vendor that will be selected to conduct the review.
If you have questions about public comment, regional meetings, or the continuous distribution exercise, please contact OPTN Member Questions at member.questions@unos.org.
