We are saddened to announce the passing of Canadian nephrologist Dr. John B. Dossetor (1925 - 2020).
Dr. Dossetor was widely considered to be the father of nephrology, dialysis, and transplantation in Canada. He was also the co-founder of the Kidney Foundation of Canada. His accomplishments in the areas of transplantation and renal medical studies have been honored on national and international levels.
