APP COP represents Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants) who practice within the transplant community.
AST members can join APP COP.
Develop a comprehensive handbook for new transplant APPs to serve as a resource guide. This will include organ-specific sections written by members of the COP with various expertise across organ groups and specialties.
Provide individualized career mentorship to trainees and early junior faculty who are committed to pursuing a career as an APP through the APP COP mentor-mentee program.
Create and share educational infographics to the APP COP social media every six months.
Send out call for applicants and Executive Committee reviews applications. Three members will be selected for the grant opportunity and will be recognized at the APP COP Annual Meeting.
