TxPharm COP provides a forum for transplant pharmacists to network and collaborate on best practice solutions while promoting the growth and development of the transplant pharmacy discipline.
AST members can join TxPharm COP.
Develop interventions to improve adherence in transplant recipients and develop tools to detect non-adherence and risk for non-adherence. Provide medication access resources and tools to facilitate patient care and clinical practice.
Develop educational offerings and resources for the field of transplant pharmacy, including papers, program proposals, webinars, and journal clubs.
Participate in public policy activities related to transplant pharmacy including updating Local Coverage Determinations (LCD) and CMS-approved compendia and commenting on OPTN Public Comment.
Create opportunities to foster leadership development and highlight TxPharm COP members for their contributions through TxPharm COP specific awards, AST nominations, and the TxPharm COP Best New Practitioner Research Project Grant to attend ATC.
