2026 COP Executive Committee Self-Nominations

Serving on an AST Communities of Practice (COP) Executive Committee is a unique opportunity to lead your peers, contribute to COP activities, and help advance your specialty within the transplant field. It’s also a chance to expand your network across AST, strengthen your leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact on both the society and your professional community.

Eligibility:

  • Must be an active AST member, with membership renewed by December 31, 2025, and also a member of the COP for which you wish to nominate.
  • You may only self-nominate for one COP position and be on the ballot for one position.
  • You cannot self-nominate for a position you have already filled, unless you served less than half of the term
  • COI (Conflict of Interest): The self-nomination application includes questions about potential conflicts of interest to confirm alignment with AST's Conflict of Interest Policy. Full COI disclosures will be requested for individuals who are elected after elections are completed.
  • Early Career Member-at-Large Eligibility: To self-nominate for the Early Career Member-at-Large position, candidates must meet additional specific eligibility criteria. Please refer to the Early Career Member-at-Large Eligibility Guidelines for more information.
