[The authors] constructed a multinational cohort of more than 15 000 kidney transplant recipients with 50 000 GFR measurements from 17 transplant cohorts in seven countries to develop a new race-free kidney recipient specific GFR equation and compared its performances with those of the three current main GFR equations.
