Objectives:

After participating in this webinar, the attendee will be able to:

  1. Describe the epidemiology of donor derived infections (consider 10-year DTAC review and other DTAC studies).
  2. Outline the factors to consider during the evaluation of a deceased donor with suspected or proven infection.
  3. Understand changes to PHS risk definitions and recommendations.
  4. Describe the emerging novel deceased donor populations (SARS-CoV-2 NAT+, HBsAg+ & HBV DNA+, and Monkeypox).
