The AST/ASHI Sensitization in Transplantation: Assessment of Risk (STAR) working group will host a two day "STAR Working Group Webinar: 2025 Reports & Planning" webinar in October, in advance for a planned pre-meeting at CEoT 2025

Registration is free and grants access to both sessions.

Session Moderators: 

  • Carrie Schinstock, MD; Professor of Medicine, Mayo Clinic 
  • Anat Tambur, DMD, PhD, FAST; Research Professor of Surgery (Organ Transplantation), Northwestern University 

Day 1: Scheduled for Tuesday, October 8, 2024, from 1:00 PM ET to 2:30 PM ET. Includes presentations and discussion on 

  1. "Non-HLA Antibody: Updates and Next Steps," 
  2. "Harmonizing Efficacy of Antibody Reduction Therapy using Titers (HEARTT)," and 
  3. "Epitopes, eplets, and transplantation: Quo Vadis?" 

Day 2: Scheduled for Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 1:00 PM ET to 2:30 PM ET. Registrants will be emailed their Day 2 login details the day before the session. Includes presentations and discussion on 

  1. "Emerging Diagnostics: Donor Derived Cell Free DNA Update" and 
  2. "The Potential Role of Innate Allorecognition in Kidney Allograft Damage."
