This symposium is designed for and limited to clinical fellows and residents, surgical fellows, research fellows, pharmacists, and other trainees who are planning a career in transplantation medicine, surgery, or research. The symposium offers an in-depth and interactive study of clinical transplantation, basic transplant immunobiology, and translational science while offering important insights into career development and unparalleled access to expert faculty. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the field of solid organ transplantation from experts in both basic science and clinical care. Attendees will be exposed to the entire spectrum of clinical, research, and translational science and career opportunities in the exciting field of transplantation. Non-doctoral allied health professionals may also find the content of interest, but registration is limited for these fields.
All attendees will learn together in one room. There are several breakout sessions with opportunities to hear specialty-specific sessions and drill down to topics of particular interest to you. The program also includes informal discussions with faculty during meals and recreational and social activities. The goal of this program is to encourage attendees to use the faculty as a resource and engage in broad-ranging discussion. This is the perfect opportunity to meet new professionals in the field of transplantation, garner knowledge from experts, and obtain advice and guidance on career decisions.
The Symposium will be at the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center in Grapevine, TX, just four miles from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The venue is certified by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC).
Read moreThe symposium was very organized. All faculty were very engaged and committed. Ice-breakers and evening activities were fun. I advise anyone considering a career in transplant to attend the fellows symposium. Tamara
Fantastic meeting that was pivotal in terms of furthering my career. I appreciate it being towards the beginning of my fellowship training year (PGY2 in pharmacy) so I can continue to build upon this knowledge over the year. Hannah
