The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access to Life (IDEAL) Committee advises the Board of Directors on developing organization-wide strategies, programs, and policies to achieve a culture of diversity and equity within the Society.
The Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access to Life (IDEAL) Committee of the American Society of Transplantation is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and nurturing culture for all of its members, with a resolute commitment to mutual respect and mentorship. We strive to promote equitable access to transplantation, and to optimize education, awareness, advocacy, and innovation for all patients, recipients, donors, families, caregivers, transplant professionals and researchers. Our mission is to value and empower all stakeholders, ensuring that every voice contributes to the advancement of the Society, the field of transplantation, and quality patient care.
