An inspiring booklet filled with heartfelt stories and drawings from young transplant recipients, offering kids a comforting and empowering resource on their transplant journey.
The transplant journey for children is often an emotional and overwhelming experience. While it's impossible to bring all children undergoing transplants together in one place, the Pediatric Community of Practice (PCOP) has created a booklet to support kids through this process. This booklet features personal thoughts, feelings, and drawings from children and young adults who have experienced transplants, offering peer-to-peer support and guidance for those navigating their own transplant journey.
Check out the BookletThe AST and the Pediatric Community of Practice (PCOP) are currently working to create a new, more extensive booklet to help share the stories of pediatric patients. Our goal is to publish a book that includes collected drawings and questionnaires from transplant kids.
Submissions are currently being accepted through August 2024.
