Can I still register for the virtual CEoT?

You can register for the virtual CEoT meeting here until April 5^th at 12 PM EST.

 

I was registered for the in-person CEoT, how do I transfer my registration for the virtual meeting?

All those registered for the in-person CEoT meeting were automatically transferred for the virtual meeting.

 

Is there a special rate for trainees to attendee CEoT?

All trainees will receive complimentary registration for the 2022 CEoT Meeting.

 

Am I able to cancel my registration and receive a refund?

All cancellations must have been received by March 6, 2022, to receive a refund.

What are the dates/times of the CEoT meeting?

The CEoT meeting will run from Wednesday, April 6^th through Friday, April 8^th with the program hours listed below: (All times listed in Eastern Standard Time)

Wednesday:   8:15 AM – 6:00 PM

Thursday: 10:00 AM – 5:15 PM 

Friday:  8:15 AM – 5:45 PM

 

What is the time zone of CEoT 2022?

The CEoT program and the online agenda are posted in Eastern Standard Time.  You can change the platform to display everything in your current time zone.  Visit the Profile tab at the top navigation bar and then select your Time Zone from the drop-down menu. 

 

Which platform will the meeting be held?

CEoT 2022 will be held on the Notified platform by Intrado.  For the best experience, The Notified Platform recommends using Google Chrome for your web browser to optimize your viewing experience.

 

When will I receive my login information?

You will receive your login from the Notified platform on Monday, April 4^th.  If you don’t receive your login, please contact Charlotte Aguilar at astmeetings@myast.org.

What if I have questions regarding AST Membership or Information during the CEoT meeting?

There will be an AST Membership Desk in the Lobby of the platform.  Please stop by to visit and learn about all that is going on with AST.

 

How do I update my information?

Visit the Profile tab on the top of the navigation bar where you can add your photo, update your time zone and create your business card to share with other participants.

 

How can I connect with other participants on the platform?  

Click on Networking on the Navigation Bar at the top and then select Who’s Here.  It will show all the active participants where you can connect 1:1 chat or video chat.

Where can I access the CEoT 2022 program?

You can view the detailed CEoT 2022 program here.

 

How long will I have access to the recorded content?

All the sessions will be available on the virtual platform 60 days after the meeting.

 

How can I interact during the live panel discussions?

You can submit your questions to the moderators through the Q&A panel on the left-hand side of your screen.  You can also leave a comment for the speakers in the chat box which is also on the left-hand side.

 

What is the STAR pre-meeting?

STAR – Sensitization in Transplantation, Assessment of Risk, a North America workgroup, is a collaborative project between ASHI and the AST. The goal of this workgroup was to establish criteria to assess the immunological status of a patient as a guide to clinical decision making for organ transplant recipients. The 2022 STAR pre-meeting will occur on Tuesday, April 5th at 10:00 am EST.  You can register for the STAR pre-meeting as part of CEoT registration.  View the detailed program here.

 

Will there be continuing education credits (CME) for CEoT 2022? If so, how many credits?

This meeting is being offered for up to 18 live credits/contact hours and 24 enduring credits/contact hours.  Visit our meeting accreditation page here.

 

Where is the application for this year’s Innovation Award?

For CEoT 2022, the Innovation Award is replaced with the Transplant Visionaries Award Challenge.

 

What is the Transplant Visionaries Award Challenge?

5 programs will compete on Thursday, April 7^th at 3:45 pm EST. Be sure to tune in and cast your vote for the most innovative pitch.  To view a list of those competing, check out our page here.

 

Abstract Presentations

Will there be abstracts for CEOT 2022?

Abstract submissions were limited to trainees/post-doctoral fellows or young investigators within 3 years of completing their post-doctoral fellowship. The application closed on December 31, 2021.

 

How will abstracts be viewed, presented, etc.?

All abstracts will be hosted on the iPosters platform that will be open for the duration of the CEoT meeting.  There will be an abstract and cases session on Wednesday, April 6^th at from 5:00 PM EST – 6:00 EST.
