AST membership is open to all individuals who are actively engaged in the science and clinical practice of organ and tissue transplantation. We have several different memberships available, depending upon your educational level and your location.

Most members pay $465 for dues; however, we have lower dues amounts for trainees, early career professionals, and advanced practice professionals.
AST membership dues are paid yearly; and renewals for the following year typically open in the fall and are due before the end of the year.
Membership applications are reviewed within 3-5 business days. You’ll receive an email once your membership has been approved.
Yes, the AST supports our trainees and early career professionals with a graduated dues program. In order to ease the transition, we offer special pricing for trainees and the two years after your training ends.
Yes, Emeritus membership is available for those retired from practice and over the age of 65. Emeritus members cannot vote or hold office on the Board, but are exempt from paying dues. Please contact the AST Membership Team to inquire about Emeritus membership.
The AST will pro-rate dues for new members who join in the months of July and August for the current membership year. Please contact us for current rates.
