Refer a Member

Refer a colleague, get rewarded!

The AST is home to over 5,000 transplant professionals - and our membership continues to grow thanks to referrals from members like you. Each year, the AST encourages members to refer colleagues through our Member Referral Program. With each new member you recruit, you can earn entries into our annual prize drawing!

How to Refer A Member

  • Spread the word about AST and the great benefits we offer transplant professionals
  • When your colleague fills out the member application, ask them to list your name as the person who told them about AST
  • Once the new member is approved, you will receive an entry into our prize drawing, held at Town Hall at the American Transplant Congress (ATC)
  • You will also be be recognized for your efforts in an issue of the AST eNews and on this website

Thank you to our members who recruited over the past year!

Rules

  • Only one name may be entered as a recommender. If multiple names are included, only one name will count for prize eligibility.
  • The referrer's AST membership dues for 2025 must be paid in full to be eligible for any rewards or prizes.
  • Nominees for membership can be former members who left the Society prior to or during 2022.
  • Prizes include AST Swag, a One year Membership, or an Apple iPad.

Hear it from our members

The professional and personal connections I’ve been able to make through AST are invaluable! Transplant truly is a tight knit community, and I can think of no better place to collaborate than through AST involvement."

Christina Doligalski, member since 2010

Transplantation is an enormously complicated field that relies on the participation of physicians, surgeons, researchers and others. In order to advance, all who participate on the transplant team must continue the dialogue.

Dr. Ronald Guttmann, AST founding President

I have been a member of AST for over 15 years. As an established molecular and cellular transplant immunologist, I always encourage young faculties and trainees with interest in building a career in transplantation to join the AST.

Dr. Valeria Mas, Member since 2008

I am so proud to be a member of AST whose mission is to promote research and innovation, education, as well as universal access to this lifesaving treatment through advocacy and support.

Dr. Ronald Squires, member since 2024
