The Space Between Goodbye and Hello: A Donor Family and Recipient in Conversation

Power2Save and AST Transplant Community Advisory Council (TCAC) invited a donor mom, an organ recipient, and transplant professionals to explore what it means to grieve, to heal, and to find purpose in the transplant journey.

This webinar focuses on a donor mom and an organ recipient as they come together to share their personal experiences with organ donation and transplantation. Through honest reflection, they explore what it means to grieve, to heal, and to find purpose on both sides of the transplant journey.

For transplant providers, this conversation offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from the people most impacted by your work. It’s a chance to better understand the emotional journey behind the clinical process, and to see how donation and transplantation ripple through families and communities long after the surgery is done.

For patients and families, this dialogue may offer comfort, connection, and validation—whether you're navigating life post-transplant, grieving a loved one, or somewhere in between.

Join us to hear how two people, forever linked by the gift of life, find strength, meaning, and hope through sharing their stories.
