June 14, 2016 - AST Board of Directors Meeting Summary

The AST Board of Directors held a brief meeting and luncheon during the American Transplant Congress, on June 14, 2016, in Boston, Massachusetts to welcome new, recently elected members

Board members reviewed and approved:

• Governance Committee recommendations regarding the vacant Secretary position created by the selection of Dr. Ronald Gill as President-elect.

The board received a preview of topics for discussion during the Joint Council meeting with ASTS planned for later that day.

Board members received an overview of the remaining meeting dates for 2016, including an August board meeting and retreat, a December budget meeting, and monthly teleconferences.
