The Community Education Committee (CEC) became an official AST committee in 2021 and is comprised of a diverse group of multidisciplinary transplant clinicians and community members. The CEC creates, shares, and reviews resources for transplant candidates, recipients, living donors, caregivers, community partners, and the lay public to advance knowledge of transplantation and organ donation.
Vision: To become a leading ally for transplant patients, providing them a safe haven from misinformation and uncertainty
