Cynthia (Cindy) Reilly joined the AST as Chief Executive Officer in December 2023. She has a background in health care and association management, accumulating over two decades of experience as a nonprofit leader. Prior to joining AST, she led strategic plan implementation and operations for a large nonprofit association in the pharmacy sector. She also previously led a successful research and public policy initiative for The Pew Charitable Trusts. At the AST, Cindy is responsible for oversight of the Society's staff, advocacy efforts, governance, leadership on strategic initiatives, and oversight of transplant community (candidates, recipients, living donors, deceased donor family members, and caregivers) education and initiatives. Cindy holds a master’s degree in medical and health policy and has a passion for improving patient outcomes and public health.
