Dr. Vikas Dharnidharka, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Florida, interviews Dr. Lorraine Bell, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at McGill University in Montreal on issues related to transitioning pediatric transplant recipients to adult health care providers. Dr. Bell discusses the current challenges to transitioning. She gives guidance on how to judge a patient's readiness to transition and methods to ensure a smooth and effective transition.
