OCTOBER 18, 2016 - BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING SUMMARY

The AST Board of Directors met by teleconference on October 18, 2016. The following items were discussed:

Board members reviewed and approved:

  • Minutes from the September 20 and October 4, 2016 teleconferences.
  • Co-sponsorship of a session at the 2017 TTS Symposium
  • Approval of an Infectious Disease Community of Practice request  to use its mailing list to facilitate a multi-center study that is one of its initiatives for 2017

The board considered advocacy recommendations proposed by the communities of practice and its members for its legislative focus in 2017. This list will continue to be refined for final approval during the December 2016 board meeting.
