Membership dues must be paid prior to April 1 to receive the member discounted registration rate to attend the 2013 ATC May 18-22 in Seattle. The member discounted rate will not be available if membership dues are submitted after April 1, and members who pay dues after April 1 will be required to register at the non-member rate. This amendment creates a deficit-neutral reserve fund to allow for growth of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The Immunosuppressive Drug Coverage for Kidney Transplant Patients Act (HR 1325) was introduced by Congressmen Michael C. Burgess, MD (R-Texas) and Ron Kind (D-Wisconsin). This legislation would allow individuals who are eligible for immunosuppressive drugs under Medicare Part B to continue to receive their vital treatment past the current 36 month cutoff.  Read the full press release.
