ASN/AST COVID-19 Kidney Transplant Roundtable: Life After Vaccination

During this webinar, representatives from American Society of Nephrology (ASN), American Society of Transplantation (AST), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the patient and general nephrology community will discuss what is currently known and unknown about COVID-19 vaccine efficacy in transplant recipients. The goal of this roundtable is to help clinicians prepare to counsel patients to navigate life after vaccination in the times ahead.  

Session Objectives: Upon completion of this session, this webinar will educate transplant nephrologists, nephrologists, and nephrology nurses in answering patient questions regarding the knowns and unknowns of COVID-19 vaccination efficacy.

The session will include:

  • Testimonial from transplant recipients
  • A review of the data describing COVID-19 vaccine response and efficacy in transplant recipients.
  • A review of the mounting unresolved issues, while we wait for additional data.
  • Roundtable panelists will answer questions from the audience.
