AST/AJT Journal Club
The AST/AJT Journal Club provides a forum for open discussion of relevant papers and encourages interaction among AST members and non-members alike. Articles are featured from the American Journal of Transplantation, with occasional journal clubs exploring a paper from another specialty journal. Each journal club is hosted by one of AST's Communities of Practice, but transplant professionals from all specialties and areas of interest are invited to attend. There is no charge to participate, but pre-registration is advised to secure your place.
AST uses an online conferencing service for the journal club. You will click on a link, enter your name and email address, and be connected to the virutal conference room. You will then use your phone to connect to the audio portion. Your phone line will be muted during the presenters' portion, and you will be able to view files the presenters choose to share with the audience. It is recommended you test your system for compatibility ahead of time. Complete details and a link to the system test will be sent to you prior to each scheduled journal club.
